Refund policy

Because our shop sells digital products, specifically digital blueprints and STL files (e.g., for 3D printing), we adhere to strict rules regarding the right of withdrawal.

1. Right of Withdrawal & Waiver (Legal Exemptions)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers generally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period").

However, an explicit legal exception applies to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (such as a CD or DVD). In accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and Article 6:230p sub m of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), the right of withdrawal expires as soon as the performance has begun.

By placing an order, checking the confirmation box, and accepting our Terms of Service at checkout, you explicitly agree and acknowledge that:

  1. You give your prior express consent to the immediate delivery and performance of the digital blueprints and/or STL files.

  2. You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal (right to a refund or cancellation) the moment the download or access to the digital file(s) has commenced.

2. When Are You Eligible for a Refund?

You are eligible for a full refund within 14 days from the date of purchase only if:

  • You have not downloaded, opened, or accessed the digital blueprints or STL files.

  • The unique download link provided to you remains unclicked and unused.

Our system automatically logs all download and access timestamps. Once our system registers that a file has been downloaded or accessed, a refund or exchange is legally and technically no longer possible, unless the file is defective (see Section 3).

3. Defective or Corrupted Files (Legal Guarantee)

We stand behind the quality of our digital blueprints and STL files. In accordance with EU legal guarantees regarding digital content (Directive (EU) 2019/770), if a file you purchased is corrupted, defective, or does not function as described on our product page, you have the right to:

  1. A replacement or repair of the digital file (e.g., a corrected version of the blueprint or STL file).

  2. A full or partial refund if a working replacement cannot be provided within a reasonable timeframe.

If you encounter any technical issues or slicing errors due to a faulty STL file, please contact our support team immediately so we can assist you.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you meet the criteria for a refund (within 14 days of purchase and the file has not been downloaded), please follow these steps:

  • Send an email to: info@qreontools.com

  • Subject line: Refund Request - Order [Your Order Number]

  • Clearly state that you wish to invoke your right of withdrawal and that you have not downloaded the product.

5. Processing of Refunds

Upon receiving your request, we will verify the download logs of your order.

If your request complies with the conditions stated above, we will process your refund within 14 days. The refund will be issued via the same payment method you used for the original transaction. No additional transaction fees will be charged to you for this refund.
